See how much more pleasant it is with a suppressor? Everyone should own at least one.

I actually have been that "inconsiderate ass" a few times on a public range, shooting my 10.5" SBR with Surefire 556k brake. Fortunately for the local range population, it now wears a KX3.

Here what goes?

Sounds like some of you guys are mistaking me with one of those ****** bags who can't handle loud noises.

This thread isn't about that, this thread is about my kick ass M4-2000 suppressor.

Maybe you missed the .50BMG M2 in General Firearms that I'm taking to the range tomorrow. Just what does your comment have to do with suppressed firearms?

Is that you shooting?

Trigger control, you should look into it.

Nice can!

Thanks, I'd never heard of that before. I always practice my fundamentals while firing at targets 10 yards away making sound comparison videos for youtube, not sure how I forgot to this time.

You people are very strange.

I'm a bit at a loss as to why all the "Uh oh"'s there are in this thread, like I've committed some sort of crime.

I merely said that shooting with a suppressor is very pleasant, and that everyone should own one. You guys have something against cans?

Get a sense of humor...silly old people.

Euro - I got the tongue and cheek nature of your post. Not sure why there are so many "oh no you dinin't" posts. Also don't understand why you are reacting to it either.

I've been agitated since the Packers lost on Sunday. :crying:

What do I need to do to legally own a suppressor here in Ohio?

If someone doesn't like loud bangs, why are they at a shooting range?

Who doesn't like loud bangs?

Likewise, who doesn't like suppressors?

I know. I am an excellent shooter. Anyone in the Tampa, FL area is welcome to shoot with me any time for verification. Although first impressions are very important, lets not make presumptions off one 30 second youtube clip.

I like driving my BMW and you bet it has a silencer. So does my Kawasaki Ninja and my Truck.

The OP is pointing out that there is no reasos why our guns should have to destroy eardrums and cause irrepairable hearing damage (and no your ear plugs @ 21db rating do not reduce the 160db report to hearing safe levels). No reason at all - other than a few folks in Washington want to keep them taxed and hard to get.

Oh I saw that baby on M4C. It's awesome. I never have had an issue being around 50's at the range before. I remember one time a 50 setting off an overly sensitive car alarm in the parking lot.

I hope to have pictures and videos uploaded by the end of the week. I am used to aiming the Ma Deuce with tracer fire, since I'm now a civilian and must resort to shooting in wildfire prone areas its going to be pretty interesting firing not only without a T&E mechanism but having to use the sights. I'm not even sure if thats possible.

Turn the volume down on your computer ;)

In all seriousness, I wouldn't even want to shoot this on a 16" rifle. It weighs a pound and is already unweildy on the 10.3" Mounted to my 14.5" middy it feels like a behemoth

Here it is on the 10.3", no appreciable difference in sound increase from the 12.5".

I'll take you up on that.

You can shoot my suppressed .300 BLK SBR for fun, and then you can shoot my 6.5G with all the expensive bits on it and help me prove that I'm the reason I can't break the 1 MOA mark with it....

Sounds good to me!

Is the 6.5 an AR platform or bolt gun?

I like a .308 can for my 5.56 AR's a lot better. Little sound difference with standard ammo and way less blowback. I tried an M42k on my 20" AR and it felt like nothing was there compared to the 762SD.

Wow, the 762SD weighs a whole 2 ounces more than an M4-2000. It definitely must have felt "like nothing was there" when you dropped those precious ounces. Of course the extra 2" would be a problem to some but why not go for the longest setup possible?

If you build the weapon up properly to be shot suppressed, gas blowback is not an issue.
