Very cool. It is nice to have an example of something that is the finest that money can buy. You can have a handgun in Brooklyn?

Very lucky to have a wife such as mine.

Additionally, this pistol was purchased through George at Gunslingers.http://www.migunslingers.com/

To say he bends over backwards for his customers is an understatement. He provides top notch service, excellent communications and what was supposed to take seven months for delivery arrived in four.

Congratulations!

I like that sunburst pattern micarta grip a lot. Sticks to your hand but doesn't abrade it like sharp checkering.

seanmac45,

Congrats on your new Wilson. I placed an order with George last month and I can definitely agree with you that he is an amazing dealer. One thing I must say however is that I believe what you have there is a standard CQB, not a CQB Elite. The CQB Elite comes standard with the Bullet Proof upgrade along with the Speed Chute magwell which is not present on the pistol you are showing in the photo.

I also ordered a standard CQB and added both of those options plus a few more goodies. I was told to expect an 8-10 month wait. I'm hoping mine will arrive earlier like yours did but I'm not counting on it. I understand Wilson is quite backed up right now with orders. You ordered at a really good time and it's really nice that you received it just in time for X-mas. Happy Holidays and enjoy your new pistol.

Thanks All!

It is the CQB Elite, I misspoke about the bullet proof being an upgrade. What I added was the flat wire recoil spring, GI recoil plug, countersunk flush slide stop, the rounded butt and the deletion of the mag speed chute. I wanted as low a profile as possible. This gun was built for carry everywhere every day.

Wilson Combat CQB Elite
.45ACP
Black armor tuff
Single side safety
Keep front cocking serrations
Keep all markings on the slide
Flatwire spring upgrade
GI style short guide rod and plug
White outline tritium front sight
Black serrated Unotch rear sight
Flush cut slide stop
New York compliant fired shell casing
Black G10 Starburst grips

Finally got it to the range today. We've been travelling since Christmas and this was the first chance I got to try it out. Went through 90 rounds of mixed 230 gr. ball, 200 gr. jacketed semi wadcutter and 230 gr. Fed Hydra Shok. The gun was WAY more accurate than the owner and a pleasure to shoot. Fed everything without a bobble and that included mixing multiple types of ammo in the same magazine to see if it would have any affect. I will probably put a set of Crimson Trace Lasergrips on this piece just like all of my other carry pistols. After a couple more range sessions it will become a primary carry weapon.

Happy New Years to all!

Glad it worked out for you. I won't be able to shoot my brand new Colt CCO until a couple of weeks from now either due to some work travel.

I can understand your frustration. Hope the time goes by quickly for you and the piece is good to go.
