I have done some workup on my 460 Rowland right now I only have the standard glock barrel and a 22lb recoil spring so Super is as far as I feel safe pushing it. So far with these loads their are absoutely no signs of excessive pressure but they are most definately a handful. Hopefully my KKM barrel will be here by the end of next week and I can continue my workups. Any way here is what I have so far all loads are with Rowland brass trimmed to ACP lengths CCI primers and Power Pistol powder.

230 XTP @ 1150 FPS at 25yds into milk jugs 95% weight retention.

I see either one of these loads being viable for a south georgia deer with a good broad side shot, and the 230 grain load should easily take a hog. Visually the 230grn XTP is much more impressive on the jugs than the 185 at 660 FPE.

Have you done any reloading with starline brass with their .45 super cases, for comparison between the two? I'd be interested to hear what you think if you ever do.

Sometimes I load my .44 mag down to those levels.

Kidding. That 230 is impressive.
