Here's a few quick videos of my G20LS in action from tonight. I was by myself, so I had to prop up my iPhone on the bench.

9x25 Dillon, 90gr XTP, 12.2gr Longshot, CCI350, 1.260 OAL, 2050fps

Very nice! And may I compliment you on some very nice "recoil control" or whatever you wanna call it...

I've been interested in getting the 9x25 conversion barrel for my G20. I understand from someone that saw a 9x25 used at an USPSA match that it is extremely loud. More like a rifle instead of a handgun. Can you comment on that at all? Curious.

I saw that too. That was specifically directed towards a comp'd open gun, running rediculous charges of W296/H110.

My favorite load uses Longshot, AKA "Loudshot", so yeah it's pretty loud. I don't shoot enough of it to bother me. I did almost get kicked out of a range for shooting it once. I was the only one on the outdoor pistol range, and the manager walked 50yds from the shop, down the the pistol range. She looked at me, shooting my G20LS (9x25 Dillon), scratched her head and walked back. When I asked about it, she said she was going to 86 me for shooting a rifle on the pistol range.

I uploaded the videos to YouTube, I think it fixed the resolution issues.

That 9X25 Dillon looks like fun! Thanks for the videos. You're making me want to get that conversion barrel.

Way to go Meathaed! Fantastic videos, I need to go shoot more from my 9x25...
Enjoyed shooting some 10mm the other day but my neighbor (across the pipeline right-of-way call) out to me wondering if I was alright thinking something blew up! It was New Years after all!
Damn 800X under the 200XTP @ 1250+ fps got his attention! I then showed him the recovered bullets from the Barnes and the XTP's...he said that is just too wicked!

Thanks for sharing!

thanks for the load data, i will try out he 9x25 data, but a little less grains to start. no worries.

do you form your own brass or buy already formed.?

I form all my 9x25 Dillon brass from new Starline 10mm cases. As long as its regular brass, it will work fine. I split necks using nickel plated RP brass, so I don't even bother with nickel anymore.

When I get some time, I want to work up past 12.2gr Longshot, this time using CCI300's and WLP's. I'm curious how the different primers will affect velocity/consistency/pressure. My favorite "light" load is 90gr XTP/14.5gr Blue Dot/CCI300. If I remember right, it gets a little over 1800fps, and it makes a the biggest FireBall I have ever seen out of a Glock.

12.6 blue dot for 150 nolser with a cci350 primer... I shot 10.2 grains of blue dot the other day. I need to work my load up it sounds like. Are you running an aftermarket barrel? I have a stock barrel

Cablecutter, we are refering to 9x25 Dillon...NOT 10MM

yes DO NOT LOAD THE 9X25 DATA FOR THE 10MM,

READ CAREFULLY, misunderstandings is the one main reason people do not share load data. read carefully, carefully please.

I think Cablecutter was referring to my 10mm 12.6gr BD/150gr Nosler load, not my 9x25 Dillon 14.5gr BD/90gr XTP load.

Yeah you still have room to grow, but work up SLOW and be careful.

What do you carry for your SD ammo?

What do you carry for your SD ammo?

My G20LS doesn't play that role in my arsenal. My hunting/woods carry load is a 200gr WFNGC @ 1250-1350fps depending on the powder I use.

My GEN 4 G21 is my go-to gun for SD, and I carry either Ranger T or HST 230gr +P's.

You should have PLENTY of room to add to that load. However, you may want to switch to regular primers (CCI 300s). Most of the BD loads I see use regular primers. Hornady's manual lists a maximum charge of 12.9gr Blue Dot with CCI 300s, 155gr XTPs, and a COAL of 1.260". Work up to that since you're using a different bullet, but you should be able to go that high. That load has tested safe in all of my 10mms.

all of my 10mms.

That has a nice ring to it. Congrats on the recent additions to the family.

Nice videos. Those loads have a pretty nice bark to them. It looks like you have that long slide running pretty well, and with some potent medicine. Thank you for posting those.

Thanks Tater. Yeah this thing is running flawlessly now, zero failures since it came back from LWD. It will eat anything from a 180gr JHP @ 950fps to a 200gr WFNGC @ 1360fps, and ofcourse those 90gr XTP's @ 2050fps too. Hopefully I'll get some better videos of it soon, including the 90gr XTP/Blue Dot Flamethrower, shooting some different 10mm loads & some long range shooting.
