Sig P220 Sport 5.5" barrel will it fit my standard P220?

I just got a factory Sig P220 stainless 45 5.47" barrel from the discontinued Sport model.
I'm thinking It will fit in my Classic 4.4" P220 and just extend an inch from the slide.

Can anyone confirm barrel compatibility?

I called Sig and they said No No No.
But I assembled and fired my P220 and she said Yes Yes Yes.

Damn I havn't seen a 220 Sport in awhile. Great looking gun. If any Sig could last long shooting 45 Super, this would be the one.
