My son and I were doing some shooting yesterday and have come to the decision that we really like the HST 124 grain +p loads in our 9mm's. In fact, I like it so much I'd like to find some 125 grain HST loads for my 357 Sig so I can compare them with the Gold Dots I have.

I've been on the computer all morning and can't find them anywhere. Does anyone know where I might find them?

I'd start with the Federal part number...
http://le.atk.com/general/federalproducts/pistol/tacticalhst.aspx
...and search all the LE-supplies online companies.

I carry my reloads with Barnes solid-copper TAC-XP bullets...on the right.

That's what I've got in my Steyr S9-A1 at the moment. The standard pressure 124-grain HST appears to be just as good in most respects.

The only place I've found them is www.ammunitiontogo.com (http://www.ammunitiontogo.com/). The minute you see them "available" you have to put your order in, otherwise they will sell out quickly.

If your a LEO I know a site where you can order them by the case. Not a LEO well you have to watch the ammo sites like all the rest of us do. Even then what you usually end up with is old ammo. Federal has a stupid policy.

It is what I am carrying now and as said above, the only place I found them was ATG. I check all of the time, but have not seen them in many months.

Another reason I like Gold Dots. Easy to find.

I'd really like to have a 147-grain HST round in .357sig.

Or Gold Dot, for that matter ...
