Nice writeup; thanks for your efforts.
Very nice Don.
I'm glad you got the chance to handle the Ithacas. I like mine quite a bit. :)
there's still more that i haven't put in there, but i've almost been up for 24hours, so my brain in turning into mush now :animlol:

Yeah, 24 hours is about my limit too.
The Ithica's are really nice. I'm still leaning on "hype" with the Cabot. they say that you can mix/match frames/slide and the fit will be the same. sure it's true, but the frame and slides that they had on display had some vertical play (more than 1/2 a human hair) in it, but i do have to say it was buttery smooth.
Yeah, 24 hours is about my limit too.
my longest has been 72 hours,
Very kool my friend, thanks for the pics:wavey:

Thanks for the photos. I really like the Dan Wesson Eco, and the new additions to the Spartan line.

Thanks for the photos. Rock River back with polymer? Id rather see their "normal" 1911s being made again.
Good job!
You made chuckle with "Glocks still look the same" so showed their sign. Can you imagine the day that Glock brings out a "non Glock" pistol?
Maybe they should make a 1911, everbody else does. :whistling:

A RRA at $800 even for a polymer frame sounds interesting. Light and yet full size for good reliability with RRA's quality would be great. I could get one sight unseen.

I'm wondering if that poly gun means RRA is gonna get back in the 1911 game. I alway's wanteda Pro Carry, but once they stopped making them and the prices went up I gave up on that thought. I'm in love with that ECS though.

Nice job Don.
I like the SACS brown-black flame camo painted 1911.
Oh look Bac, STI made you the perfect 1911. A commander sized, double-stack with..... a rail.
You'd better hope I don't win the Powerball anytime soon, cause if I do, you're getting two of those in a cowboy rig to your door.

Great write up Don. :thumbsup:Seems like some really cool 1911's coming out this year. Liked the slim XD's. All the people wanting a single stack Glock, now have an option. I'm glad to RRA getting back into the game...I think. Don't know about the poly 1911. Not really my thing. Some cool stuff out there this year for sure.

The Sig would be much better without those grips IMO. Some basic black grips would have been much better. Of course I have fairly bad taste and I kinda like that Sig Scorpion 1911 too :wavey:

Glad you posted this. I see the Spartan IV that I'm eyeballing right now. It's either that or the SR1911 for me.

Thanks for posting! While I generally don't like officer sized 1911's, there is something appealing about that DW ECO.

I know everyone is bent outta shape on that polymer 1911 - but I like that it comes with rubber grips. And, it appears that maybe you can put any grips you want on it.
That would make a great car gun - as in the summer, metal frames get too damn hot.
I plan to take a look at those once they hit the shelves...

And it's not as though plastic-framed M1911s hadn't been made before either.

Thanks for posting these. That's gotta be awesome, seeing them all in person.

from the source, no 357 1911, but said that if it can be done in 9mm, then it can be done in. 357. expect it the third quarter.
