I have seven and I feel uncomfortable choosing just one, but the P220 would be my choice. My P229 is completely stainless and heavy, the P226 is heavy when there is a full magazine, the 220 Supermatch is to big, the P225 & P6 are 9MM, and the P239 is sort of top heavy when the magazine is empty, so the p220 is the one.

+1-- i picked a p229 scorpion and a very hard to find p938 nightmare..... ergoonmics for the scorpionp229 are terrific with a very controlled and tamed recoil,
& accurtate as hell out of the box.have not fired the p938 yet. the sig line ,which is rather new to me, exudes quality and upmanship. very impressed thus far!
P229R, mine happens to be a 40, a 357 barel is forthcoming and next after that will be a 9mm conversion and then a 22 conversion. That's alot of versatility in one platform! Fits my hand perfect and points so right. Second choice would be a 245.

I need that one too...
P226, with or without the rail. Right now I have both but having a hard time finding holster for the rail gun. Their rail model in the Navy gun. Anything Navy SEALs use has got to be top of the line. Never had a failure of any kind with mine. Been testing the MecGar 18 round mags. About 500 rounds thru them with zero malfunctions.
Just picked up a gently used P229 no rail in .40. Can't wait to get to the range and shoot it.
