A Florida gun shop staff member told me about he used his firearm for self defense. It was 8 years ago, and no charges were made against him.
It raises a question in my mind. Do we as armed citizens, run the risk of losing our firearm once used for self defense, assuming the proper situation and circumstances? What is the protocol in most cases when a firearm is taken into custody for the court system?
