See http://www.fist-inc.com/holsters/k1/k5.htm

I use a Galco Horsehide and an Alabama Kydex, but the Fist may be the thinnest.

How do you like this holster? Does it carry when in a front pocket and/or cargo shorts bottom pocket? Thats how I would carry mostly...

That Alabama holster is the one that I use with my G39. It is extremely well made and carries well in my LL Bean cargo shorts. Pistol in right front pocket, wallet in left front pocket for a balanced look.:wavey:

Palmettotacticalgear.com is a full custom kydex holster manufacturer, they do not have pocket holsters on their site but they will custom make one for you in about 3-5 days.

I've only worn it a few time in my front pocket in my jeans. I havn't tried in cargo shorts yet, with the winter we're having I might soon though.

PJ Holsters are also a good holster, and a great value. I have an IWB and have been very happy with it.

Yea I'm between him and Alabama, but I got quoted $35 so a bit more than Alabama, if it was $20/$25 shipped I would have been all over it.

Look at FIST holsters they have super thin kydex. I love my FIST #1AK for IWB.

Paul is very easy to work with, if that is the only deciding factor just be completely honest with him in a private conversation and see what he says. The worst he can do is say sorry he can't match the price, and then you know you will have to wait the extra time of ordering through Alabama. Part of running a business is knowing why you are losing shares to the competition, I'm sure there would be no hard feelings either way and he might even appreciate the heads up that there is a very similar product on the market at a considerably cheaper price.

I carry my 19 pocket sometimes and I use an Alabam holster co. pocket rig and I LOVE it. Turnaround took a while but it was worth it.

I really like my Alabama holster for the PM9. Took just over two months to get it, but it is nice.

I've had excellent luck with my Aholster. Had it approx 4ish years now. Hides the gun well, stays in the pocket, and no sharp edges. Great piece. I haven't tried the Fist.

I've used a variety of different pocket holsters -- cloth, leather and kydex -- on different guns, and my experience has been that the kydex pocket holsters are both too stiff and too slippery. A good pocket holster will eventually mold to the contour of your leg, must be at somewhat flexible to flex with the motion of your trousers, will be a bit rough or "sticky" on the outside to minimize the amount it shifts around in your pocket and to keep it in your pocket on the draw, and will help break up the outline of the gun.

Kydex pocket holsters fail on almost all those counts -- they're slippery, stiff, and because they're molded to the gun often don't break up the outline very well.

I think the inexpensive DeSantis Nemesis is the best pocket holster I've ever owned, and it's the opposite of a typical kydex pocket holster in every way.

I've had some very nice leather pocket holsters, but none has been any better than the Nemesis.
