I'm not talking about .45's, revolvers, or any other calibers here. If you had to pick only one 9mm, what would you choose and why? For me it would be an easy choice: my Walther PPQ. I've owned several other 9mm's and I still have a few, but the PPQ is easily my favorite. I love the size, weight, action, ergonomics, accuracy, features, looks, and reliability. I'm curious to hear what you guys have that you simply couldn't part with or what you'd really like to own.

I DO only have one 9mm. It is a Glock 17. Nuff said. I chose it because in my opion (admitting I haven't fired just every 9mm in the world but I have fired a few) it is the best, most dependable and most accurate.

I like the PPQ from what i have seen and felt "never fired it yet". With that said as much as I love my gen4 G19, I would have to go with the gen4 G17 based on the longer barrel and higher capacity mags, not too mention I feel it will still be easier to get glock parts than walther or even SIG, and I love my SIG's too!

I would pick a glock 19 grip chopped to a 26.

It would be able to do everything real well from deep concealment to home defense with a rail for a light and larger magazines.

I can't think of another 9mm with as much versatility, especially when you take maintenance and aftermarket support into consideration.

P99 for me also. As much as I like G19 as "all around gun", P99 is just as reliable, is more accurate, points better and has better trigger and better sights. Faster gun. And I do like the 2nd strike capability and the fact you don't need to shift the grip to release the mag.

No brainer for me if it had to be a 9mm it would be one of the CZ75 series pistols. I own a 75B so if it had to be one that I presently own it would be the 75B. Great ergo's, love it's natural pointability, the way it fits my hand, accuracy, reliability. It's parts fit well together like a pistol costing much more. It's just a darned fine pistol to own and shoot. It's a pistol that is advertised as being carried at least in part by 60 countries Police and Military.
There PO-1 model is also Nato approved like the Glock 17 & 19 if that means anything to you.

I can't argue with this.
I have a Gen 2 and it's perfect aside from the cutout at the bottom of the front strap to aid in pulling out the old pre-metal-lined magazines. It interferes slightly with my grip. Other than that, it's the best 9mm I've ever owned or shot.

Having owned or shot most of the 9's mentioned here, I still have a few of them in the old footlocker-did not like the PPQ, love the Hi-Powers, like Sig 226 Navy , the Kahrs were not my cup of tea, Beretta not for me , HK USP OK but sold, P99 OK but gone, own a P-38, sold a couple of other Walthers, had a P7 , etc., etc.
The Glock reigns supreme to me -I have all the 9mm versions (temporarily not a34-waiting for a Gen 4 ) but may get a CZ since it seems to be the only one of the most favored 9's
I have not owned.(or presently own).
Have shot a couple of those CZ pistols and they would be a great range gun for me.
My favorite is my custom Glock 26 . followed by the comped 17 and the 19. Commomality of operations, magazine interchangeability, shootability , accuracy, reliability, handlling, fit,
and overall killing machine capability.

I only own 1 9mm, a G19 gen 3. Great pistol and I would never get rid of it. So that would be my choice.

The answer of a ruger blackhawk convertible (357/9mm) would be interesting to own. Has anyone ever shot it with the 9mm ammo and how accurate was it?

Glock 26. Nothing else fits my hand better. Easily concealable in a good holster. Not one malfunction in close to 5000 rounds now. What is not to like?

WALTHER PPS Shoots every time, easily carried, great holsters available 6 to 8 round mags...(if not, Springfield XD9 Subcompact...but a bit too "thick", also easily carried, mags to 13 round available)

I hate these questions. If you could only have one 9mm...

...If I could only have one 9mm, I'd move to somewhere that let me have however many I wanted.

One 9mm? H&K P7M8 with a P7 in a close second. I'd much rather have a .40 or 357SIG that can be converted to 9mm, though.

S&W 6906: the perfect blend of concealability and shootability. I need to get a 6904 to go with mine!

Well, since I often say my G26 is my most versatile gun, I'll have to go with it.

A few years ago I would have said Hi Power or CZ 75. I can't believe I am picking a polymer gun but if it's only one it's my PPQ.....other than the slide serrations, there's nothing to NOT like!
Best stock trigger next to a 1911.

Gen G-17 for me..........I once had a beautiful Belgian Hi-Power like above. Some p.o.s. in NewOrleans stole it along with my Win 70 25-06 some years back. All I want to say about that is that if Katrina buried them both along with the bast%*d(s) that stole them, that's ok by me!!
