Finally able to get my Glock 20 last week. Picked it up at local gun store on the blue label program. $506 out the door brand new still had the bronze packing lubricant all over it. Test rounds date it to july 2011.

Clerk couldn't understand why I wanted it said they had it for a few months and couldn't move it. I just smiled at him he obviously didn't understand the 10mm.

Brought it home and did the white lettering. I know some hate it but I love the way it looks. Especially when you see 10mm Auto in white on the slide sticking out in contrast to the black! And to make it better the store was selling 10mm range ammo for $17.99 a box. All around a great day.

That's a very good price. Well done! Isn't it great when you find something really good in the open when everyone else doesn't even notice it?

One advice: Save them brass !

Nice buy. Congratulations.

Glock makes a 6" hunting barrel. I will be picking up a 6" for my G20 at some point. I am leaning Glock.

The ammo was american eagle 180gr I bought 4 boxes and have already shot it all. Waiting for the first to get here so I can get some more. The 20 shoots awesome even the wife liked it and she has small hands.

Anyone know if I can reload the American eagle brass? I saved the 200 I have now just in case. I figured the 10 is a good place to start reloading.

I shot that ammo as well. From what I understand, it is not full power 10 mm ammo. It shoots very well, and there is almost no recoil. Much different than hotter ammo though so if you try out some Underwood Ammo after shooting the American Eagles, be prepared for a difference.

That's what I figured but for $17.99 a box I couldnt beat it. Plus the wife liked shooting it and any time I can get her on board my life is a little easier.

Yes. It is reloadable. I would limit loads to moderate strength. It is not as high of quality, in my opinion, as Starline or Winchester brass. Good enough for range reloads though. You should expect 6-8 reloads through them with moderate loadings.

Keep all of your brass. Handloading is a particularly good investment for the 10mm auto.

First...Welcome to the 10 Ring and Congrats on the Glock 20. !!

American Eagle is good range ammo, you can reload it but I would recommend full length resizing after shooting it out of a Glock barrel

If you get an after-market 6 inch hunting barrel, you will find that the chambers are tighter and reloaded ammo that has been shot previously in a Glock barrel will not feed unless it has been full length resized.

American Eagle (Federal) 180 grain FMJ has a real life speed of 1030 FPS and 425 Foot Pounds of energy. Perfect for plinking and range work.

Glad the wife is on board.!

Take care and have fun
