1 EUR= 1.3 USD currently

Just to compare prices. By the way, this retailer has reasonable prices comparing to some others here.

Robert they show the price as 1.355,00 EURthey show the decimal after the 1 but isn't that suppose to be a comma? and the comma a decimal?

Just trying to make sure I was understanding correctly...

1355 Euro = 1776.811495 US Dollar
1 EUR = 1.31129999 USD | 1 USD = 0.762602 EUR

Yes, in Europe, a comma is a decimal, and vice versa for mathematics.

I wonder there's any tariff on it. The local gun shop here had one that I was eyeing, for $975-$999 ball park. A few weeks later, it was gone. Not meant to be mine. :)

Yes, that's right. Even I sometimes write down a decimal instead of comma or vice versa here on forum although I try to adopt to US norm here. But they taught us so since 1st or 2nd class of elementary school... :dunno:
However, when reloading I use grains and inches instead of european grams and centimeters. I use Dillon equipment and most manuals are written in american units only or both. My caliper and scale are switchable so no problem.

Last gun show, "used" glocks were hurting in sales even at $425-$450 USD sales were very slow, but nice to see the Euro is heading to a more realistic value.

Well, € 1355 looks mighty expensive, but that is generally the price for a decent 1911 pistol here in Europe. Most 1911 pistols over here in Belgium are STI, COLT, Kimber, Peters Stahl and S&W, and if you want one of these brand new don't bother to look for one unless you got at least € 1000 in your pocket.

All those € prices look expensive when compared to the $, but that is mainly because the $ has become quite a bit weaker over the last 10 years compared to the €. When the € came out about 10 years ago it was roughly the same as the $. When you buy a Glock 20 in Europe you pay € 700 for it, which is about $ 920. For Americans it would seem that life in Europe is extremely expensive, but you have to keep in mind that the same € 700 was about $ 700 when the € came out a decade ago. For us Europeans the pistols haven't become more expensive the last 10 years, we still pay the same price as back than, it is just that all those prices on guns in the USA now seem very low for us thanks to the $ that has become weaker compared to the € (not that the € is doing great either).
