The article says Kramer owns Glock 26 that he has taken onto the floor at times. He also admitted he's not the only lawmaker carrying a weapon to work.

Good for him! I live in Wisconsin, and near the capital-Madison. After reading the Madison newspaper article and reading the posts by the folks (majority of) that do not approve of CCW, etc., it makes me want to go to the capital, meet with my assembly person, shake his hand and thank him for supporting the CCW act. All the while as I am CCWing my Glock 19.

Isnt it illegal to carry into State or Federal buildings?Or is it just a special permit for folks in the Political arena?

Depends on the state, IIRC in Texas a CHL actually allows you to skip the security lines, while in MN it's perfectly legal to carry into the legislature as long as you've notified the Capitol Police in writing beforehand.

In reading some of the comments on the first link, I came to the conclusion that most of them were brain washed anti-gun Libatards that have no clue.

How disgusting. :shakehead:

What a shame it is for a American to be exercising his right to keep and bear arms.

More power too him! I would like to see more of this. I admire any lawmaker that respects our rights and especially one that has no problem with exercising his own rights publicly.

We need more like him.

Chock full of your typical liberal BS. I'm sure glad they believe their own BS because no one with half a brain will.

LIBERALISM IS MENTAL DISORDER!
