Safety on cruise ship

Here's a question I don't ever recall you getting.

Can you give me a primer on safety while on a cruise ship? We've cruised several times before, and have always had a great time. Any thoughts on using credit, shore excursions, ID theft, etc.

Joe, one o the few things the Dirty Harry character had right was, "A man has got to know his limitations." Mine include the fact that I've never even been on a cruise, and couldn't begin to tell you where identity theft issues, etc., would differ there compared to other environments.

Sounds like a good topic for Carry Issues or even GNG.
