Love the look of the SIS line. If concealed carry is not a roll it will feel I really think the SIS makes more sense as a range gun with its heavier weight. Either would be a great choice. SIS is no longer made so that might be a factor as well. I do not think there would be much difference between them reliability or performance wise.

I'd take the SIS Pro over the CDP Pro, and I own the CDP Pro, just because the SIS Pro isn't made anymore. You can always get a CDP Pro.

Siince the SIS Pro isn't made any longer. it is a solid choice. However, I have the CDP Pro on my want (need) list. Good luck.

Have you ever messed with a SIS? The slide is hard to grip.

It is a little slicker than I would prefer to grasp but is not a deal killer, on a range gun it should not have any real bearing at all.

I would get the CDP Pro simply because I think the slide on the SIS looks terrible, but thats just me.

Some people thinks it's bad while others don't. I'm not sure why people don't like it? The kimber warrior doesn't have it either. I might be wrong but I think if it has it, it's drop safe. I could be wrong, but I don't really remember. It's just an extra step to take down the slide. Or at least it is to me.

I like the looks of the SIS.

I have owned all three versions of SIS and I agree that the slides are impossible to grip.

My only problem with the SIS is the fact that its slippery. I can never get a secure grip on the slide of those between the "SIS" serrations and the finish.

...oops, I see that's already been discussed. :embarassed:

That's great, actually.

I hate FPS.

I agree, especially when it's activated by the Grip Safety.

BTW, doesn't your carry piece have a FPS?
