Help with Model

I have looked at thread after thread and picture after picture and still have not come up with what Im after. Maybe somebody here can help me.

I have a Springfield Armory 1911-A1 model PX9608L made in 2001. It looks more like a "loaded" than a "mil spec" but it does not have the ambi safety. The rear sight in the picture is aftermarket but I have the original sight.

I picked it up in a trade and was wanting to trade it off but am not sure how to figure out a value with so many models out there.

If I missed a good thread on this Im sorry but I could use some help on this. Thanks

Thanks guys, so would it be considered a MilSpec version or the Loaded? I’m wanting to advertise it for trade (for a comparable 1911 with an ambi safety) and I just want to be able to accurately describe what it is.

Its definitely a version of the Loaded.

I have the same model. Called SA and asked what it was. The lady told me that is was the "Loaded" before they officially had the Loaded model.

I have the same gun bought in 08-2000. Paid $550 OTD PX9608 is a Loaded with almost all the same bells & whistles except mine didn't have the dovetailed front sight like the newer version.
Sent it in to SA last summer for some issues and got it back with a new SS barrel and bushing. Had it armory-koted black.
Should have had night sights installed but oh well.
I really like mine...wouldn't sell it cause it would cost too much to replace it.
