I like the Glock23 personally. The SIG is a good weapon, I just prefer the Glock23. Mine is a Gen ll with no finger grooves, though and I really carry an older (no rail) G30 most of the time.

Lots of guns to choose from and they all are good. Pick which one you like best, I did .

Never been around the SP2022 but my G23 is not leaving.

I like both, but in this case I'd go with the Glock 23. The sp2022 doesn't feel right in my hand for some reason. BUT, I never shot one so my opinion should be taken with a grain of salt. My P220 is another story....I love that thing.

What if they both cost $400.00 plus tax ( same price ) would that make a difference to you ?

I luckily got the G23 as my first purchase... I say lucky because others including Hickok45 have said it's their favorite Glock, it gets many if not the majority percentage of "Best Glock" and it's virtually certain it's the Most Useful/Most Versatile Glock....

As it's considered a "compact" I surmise it doesn't fit EVERYONE and some people consider the "Full size" better... to me the "Compact " frame like the G23 and G19 is the "normal" handgun size, and just happens to be absolutely perfect for my hand. Also I am a .40 S&W fan and was raised with that caliber and love it for it's power and size and capacity and the blend thereof, i.e. maximization of punching power and magazine capacity. Obviously I'm biased cause I own it , I certainly admit that.

And also add in the 40-9 conversion capability ( i had he LWD 40-9 and could not be happier) and also you can drop right in a Glock stock 357 bbl or a LWD or whooever else, and just blast away with 357. ( I don't yet have a .357 bbl but one day).

All in all, I know there are many great pistol and brands and such but I am extremely happy with my G23.
