online CCL test?

I stumbled on a online course for 44.99 where you get a Va. non-resident license and its good in 27 states including my state ohio.

Is this the same or just as beneficial as paying $100 in state?

That is just the firearms competency course....You still have to pay the 100 for the va chp application process.

BTW.... I used this http://www.mdgunsafety.com/
Its free and is accepted by VA as an online course because it is done by the Maryland Police Commission!
I have gone through other firearms classes in the past including MN ccw 6 years ago, but could not find the certificate.
