Mas

Nice job on your new book very helpful.

What is an effective way to determine our master eye listed in the previous post. I was told that I was left eye dominant and I am also right handed, but heck when I try the technique you shared in the previous post I was spot on with my right eye at 12 yards with a glock 21 gen4- one on top of the other for a magazine. Any method you could share for deciding master eye is appreciated. Apologize if this has been answered before.

thanks as always-jim

Steeler, sorry this took longer than usual, but it's one of those "a picture is worth a thousand words" deals, and it took some time to round up the visuals.

You won't need a gun for this. Form your two hands into the configuration shown below. Make sure your hands are extended to full arm's length. You want the triangle formed between thumbs and fingers to center on something distant...a treetop, the top of the telephone as shown, or a light switch on the most distant wall from you if you're doing it inside a building...

Then, SLOWLY, and KEEPING THE OBJECT CENTERED IN THE TRIANGLE, bring your hands to your face. In the photo below, veteran instructor Steve Denney, center, is sharing it with a CCW class....

Keep doing it until your hands touch your face. The triangle of fingers and thumbs will center on on eye or the other...and THAT, brother Steeler, is your dominant eye!

Thanking you for your patience,
Mas
