View Full Version : Brought home a new snubby today...
Almost pulled the trigger on a LCR, but ended up getting a S&W 438 Bodyguard. Loved the trigger and XS sight on the LCR, but the Smith Airweights carry "smaller". I used o have a 442 and was looking for a no-lock one. But the humpback just called to me.
You can't go wrong with a J-Frame. As much as I like my SP101 and LCR I still bring out the J-Frame for back up and pocket carry.
The LCR is right small with the Hogue boot grips installed, with slightly less sting than a boot gripped J frame. Course, you can't thumb cock it though.
Good choice!
Love the j-frames for ease of carry and....a bit of brand loyalty to S&W...

Congrats, J frames are excellent wheel guns.
As good as it gets for pocket carry. Congrats.

Congrats, i've been wanting one for a few months now just haven't pulled the trigger yet. Maybe i can postpone my next glock purchase and get a wheelgun.

LOL! That is exactly what I did. I already own a G19 so I went to the store to buy a G26 and went home with an LCR.
