Is it possible to vary the speed with which the powder is dispensed? Would 50gr be dispensed with the same speed as 5gr? Would something finer then gunpowder work (Ca Carbonate)? Looking to adapt one of these for an industrial application unrelated to reloading.
thanks

If you are talking about the auto dispensers that connect via charging die, nope, the idea behind it is the powder falls into a particular sized hole. When you move the reloading lever down, the disk slides the small opening away from the powder hopper, and onto the die hole, dropping whatever cc's of powder into the cartridge. So if you wanted to time the 50 grain charge, you can use 10 lever movements of 5 grain loads, but thats as far as it goes.

Sorry... I meant the powder dispenser/scale that automatically meters out the powder.

I would just enable it so the CaCO3 never hits the scale therefore it would be in a state of constant metering.
