Stopped by one of the pawn shops on the way home. They had an 8" stainless Dan Wesson in .41 mag. Vented heavy shroud. $800 and beat to crap, poor thing. For half the price it would make a great woods gun since nothing you did to it would make it worse.
We need to open a shelter where these firearms can be rehabilitated and returned to society for a long productive life with a loving caretaker. Anyone know how to file for a 501 C3?

Is there a shelter for abused firearms?
Yes, my basement safe where all abused and unloved firearms find love, warmth, and comfort.
Abused firearms can find refuge in my home anytime.
They will be given a nice bath with Hoppe's #9 and fed a warm
bowl of BreakFree.
Then they will be gently wrapped in a clean warm towel and given a safe place to sleep.
In my home they'll receive the care and attention they deserve.
No gun left behind is my motto.
Its amazing how some people treat their firearms.

Its amazing how some people treat their firearms.
Especially someone willing to shell out the bucks for a high quality. Had it been a Ruger(I love ruger, but they are very inexpensive) or hi power, or even a glock I would understand.

I wish I had taken pics of the last .357 Blackhawk I bought before I started in on it...Got it for a song...
Literally would not turn due to rust...Loading gate would not open...Patches of light pitting on the exterior also...
AND, it was still loaded with Black Talons...
An hours work, and I now have one smooth beater/shooter...
