how do you like them? was a toss up between this and a troy alpha. the samson is cheaper.

I have the Rainier Arms Evolution made by Samson and I love it. Pretty light for being almost 12.5".

Seems very similar, I have a Sampson rail on my AA piston
upper. Quality is even with Troy. If price were even I would
get a Troy over the Sampson.

I have a RUC 14.5 with the same.... super light and I like diameter for my hand size when shooting with a thumb over support grip and a Magpul AFG.

Nothing against Sampson, I just like the round vent holes
of the Troy better than the cuts in the Sampson

Check. I like that it uses a stock barrel nut and can be added after a muzzle.device has been welded on

That's why I purchased my Samson Evo. I really like it but sold it (11") to purchase a 13".

The 12.37", my rounding was .13 off the mark.

Troy Alpha does the same.

I actually prefer the Samson rails. They seem sturdier than the Troy's.

How so? I'm looking at adding a Sampson Evolution, I guess then I will know.

QN,

To me there is less flex in the Samson.
