I'm not finding any luck. All I'm getting from people is "they're near impossible to get right now." I found one when I dropped in a local shop after work on Wednesday. The shop had it listed for $313 but apparently some guy came in earlier that day and put a $50 hold on the gun to pick up a couple days later :steamed:. The LGS worker wasn't interested in taking the full amount in cash right then to take it home with me.

No one can give me an idea on when they will get more in. I want this gun! :crying:

A couple weeks ago the LGS got one and it was immediately sold ($350). I bought my SR1911 the same time.

A couple weeks ago at the gun show I saw at least two dealers had them ($345).

Last week a friend and I bought ours at Cheaper Than Dirt ($299).

I wouldn't have the patience to wait for one. I'd get a 10/22 and a Nordic kit. More expensive, less wait.

Already have a 10/22. I want a handgun and the reviews and good words sold me on it. I handled the one I found at the shop (LGS still had it displayed for some reason) and it felt really good.

I put the larger grip on mine, fits my hand better.

My LGS had one in stock the other day for $319.99. I like it a lot, but just bought a MKIII 22/45 in December. Still might have to pick one up eventually.

We had one and it sold within a couple weeks. I saw the customer yesterday and he loved it. They put the larger grip on it and he and his Sons are shooting the snot out of it.

My LGS is the #1 Ruger dealer in the country. I was there last week and they had a bunch of them. (they also order 100 at a time). $289 +tx

I saw one sitting in the case right next to a Walther P22 at my LGS just yesterday and I have to say, I had to look pretty close to tell the two apart. They said they had a few in stock but none have sold as of yet.

They sell out as soon as they hit the case, according to the one LGS I trust. I've got one on the short list, but I can wait until the fury subsides.

Saw one on consignment used for 250 at a local range. Kinda made me wonder why it was there already, someone must have really not liked it. Not hating but I really have no respect for ruger on this one, its like they scanned a p22 and had some graphics major work their markings on it and hit print. To each his own though.

You couldn't be more wrong. Do some research between the two and you'll see that they are night and day in terms of build and reliability. The SR22 is easily worth twice that of the Walther. I'd buy another one in a heartbeat...

A lady friend ran about another 350-400 rounds through mine today. She was interested in maybe getting the SR22 and wanted to try it out.

We had fun with the gun and the last thing was her going through a bunch of magazines (I was loading mags for her as fast as I could) shooting the Mozambique Drill, using the Crimson Trace laser.

Right off the lady was accurate and quickly she became fast and very accurate with the CT equipped Ruger.

Tomorrow she is heading to Cheaper Than Dirt to buy a SR22. I hope they aren't sold out.
