At what point would you consider replacing the springs in your gun? I ask because the 23lb Wolff Springs in my G29 have approximately 3,000 rounds or so on them. Most of these have been "full power" but non-nuclear loads. I have noticed that my brass is once again trying to reach escape velocity it seems. Do y'all think its time for a new set?

3000 rounds is the accepted standard for regular spring replacement, however, with a smaller pistol, many will suggest spring replacement even sooner (ie, 1500rds). If you ask me, springs are cheap insurance.

Thanks for the response. I've got a new set on order.
