If you only had 1 AR, what would it be?
I have a Daniel Defense XV EZ and will have a Colt LE6920 next week. I'm curious as to how these 2 will match up.
well, I'm working on building my first one. Spikes upper and lower with a PSA lbk with magpul stock and grip. Everything said and done to my door and built by me, ill be looking at about $800. I think I did pretty well on prices so far.

Mine.
Noveske. Because it is made in my hometown and it will only be the only one cause if I ever can afford one there won't be any left over money for another.

I only have one, it's a BCM mid 16. I almost bought the colt but am extremely happy with the BCM and you get more for the $.
Only one? It'd be the COLT Hbar that I own.

If I had to have ONE AR to do everything, I think I would probably go for a 11.5-12.5 inch in 300 BLK out or more likely 6.8.
I have only one. Spike's lower and Stag upper with rails.
This basically is my only AR.

Mine. Colt 6920. Magpul, Larue, DD, Troy, EO Tech, and YHM.

I like mine, but would rather have a 4x ACOG instead of the Burris AR332.
-CMMG M4 LE upper
-BCM bolt carrier group and Gun fighter charging handle
-Spikes lower
-Timney 3lb trigger
-Magpul CTR stock and MOE grip
-Troy BUIS and quad rail
-Grip Pod, military model

Same here, but in 5.56 - easier to get ammo, and cheaper.

My trusty Colt LE 6920. Bare bones simple, accurate and reliable right out of the box.
Does Colt make a flat top carbine with a thicker profile barrel and no M203 notch?
Tough decision.
I would go with the Colt out of the two you own.
For me I would stick with one of my Noveske rifles. Probably the 300BLK in the suppressed 8" configuration.

I have a Colt LE6920 and a S&W M&P 15 Sport. Had a Bushmaster a few years ago. But out of all of them......
.....I choose my M&P15 Sport.
Mine. Or I'd also take the SBR version of it...

Hard to say.
My Grendel topped with the 2.5-8X optic is the superior weapon, and is the only one I would trust to get the job done at and beyond 600 yards, but ammo availability is a huge concern.
My 8" suppressed .300 BLK SBR is the most versatile, but again, ammo is an issue.
My 16" 5.56 carbine topped with a 1-4 optic is extremely reliable and accurate, but the other cartridges are simply better - except for availability and expense.
Same with my 16" dissipator topped with an ACOG. Great gun, very lightweight build, and would be my SHTF choice, simply because of the weight and ammo availability.

Though I stocked up on thousands of rounds in 300BLK .... I am buying a damn Dillon press and minting my own going forward. Ammo will no longer be an issue at least in my household. Suggest you look into it as well.

Got 2 guesses. By no means fact just a guess. Name recognition, and price. When you are comparing 2 almost identical products from what I have seen colt is actually cheaper, or at least was for awhile. Lol and now you can apparently get colt even at walmart
My frankenrifle:
BCM 14.5" w/ pinned A2X Lightweight Upper

Bcm..
Where's the love for Larue??
I've got four, recently both a LMT M4 and a LMT MWS, and I was blown away at the quality of both. My other .223 is a Bushy, and my other 7.62 is an Armalite, and there's just no comparison, although the LMTs are much more expensive. In my mind they're worth it. But as you limit me to one, I'd pick the LMT MWS because I prefer the round and I'm a tall guy who can handle the extra weight of the 7.62. On the other hand, if you're anticipating urban warfare, you might prefer the lighter weight of the .223. I think how you anticipate using it should be your driver re caliber.

As an owner of 20 ARs, it would be hard to choose just one. After some careful consideration, I would choose my Sabre Defence M4.

I wouldn't trade the AR332 for a 4x Acog. I tried both and the eye relief on the 4x acog is much too short. There are some acogs with longer eye relief but I think they are only on a few of their 3x models.
I would trade it for the 3x acog but I'm very pleased with the AR332 so I den't feel a need to spend the extra $$$$ to get the Acog.

The 3.5x ACOG has a MUCH longer eye relief. I agree that the 4x model's eye relief is absurdly short.

I'm a self-professed LT kool-aid drinker. I'm also a realist, though(and a bit of a cheap bastard), and its less expensive for me to get a quality barebones upper and build it up the way I want, than to order something similar from LT.
The one under construction on my bench right now.
Dreadnaught lower
BCM 16" middy upper
Daniel Def LPK
BCM auto-spec BCG
Medium Gunfighter charging handle

Will put up some pics once my lowers are ready, Alex has them out being anodized, and they're apparently way behind.

That, sir, is a very bold and inaccurate statement, even if it is just your opinion. A statement like that is worthy of the ridicule it has received. I usually make a point not to beat up on people's opinions, but this is so far off base, I just had to weigh in. I am going to assume to attribute this to one's youth and ignorance. No educated gun enthusiast, in his right mind, would ever make such a statement.
Additionally, making a statement like this one....
not trying to fit in just stating the facts and dont care who likes or dislikes it you can all kiss my ASS
will take away any credibility you may have, or had, and net you "zero" respect. Having a "Smart *$$" attitude here on GT will get you nowhere quickly. My mother use to have a saying, "you can catch more flies with sugar than you can with vinegar". Something you may want to think about.
