Ammo dry box...pelican case?

Found a good deal on a used pelican 1610 and since I have been hording ammo as prices go up I figured I'd consider it as a option for a dry box. Would this be a good fit for a few thousand rounds that I would like to keep dry through the humid southern summer?

I just looked on line at that price you could buy 25 ammo cans. They have worked well for me.
