??? H&K Mk23 ???

I recently acquired a gunsafe, and was told that whatever is inside, is mine to keep.

Well, apparently, someone 'got into' the gunsafe prior to me getting it.

Long story short, in the safe, is quite a bit of ammo and some rifle and pistol magazines, and a couple of firearm manuals.


I have what appears to be an H&K Mk23 magazine (.45 acp) that is NEW. (One of the owner's manuals was for the H&K Mk 23.)
It was fully loaded with UMC .45 acp ammo.

Can someone tell me about this???
What would this be worth???

Does anyone here have a need for this magazine????
(Not looking for $$$. I have NO USE for this magazine.)


Also, I have what appears to be a S&W Sigma .40 S&W magazine.
It too is new.

Does anyone have a use for this????? I have NO USE for this magazine, either.)

Tell me about the pistol.

I know it's .45 acp, but, I don't know anything about H&K (never interested in 'em.)

I honestly don't have a use for the magazine.

I've got a couple of friends with H&Ks that are local.

As soon as I hear from them, I'll decide on what's happening to the magazine.

I have a Mark 23. Mags range inlrice depending on condition and use. I bought six ten round magazines recently that where used for $22 a piece which was a great deal.

I've seen the 12 rounders go for $75 new and upward, especially with the Mk23 being discontinued recently again. Prices already started to climb a few bucks. I'm glad I bought mine when I did.


As for history. The Mk23 was made for the Offenseive listol trials in in the early 90's to be used by special forces. It won the contract and was hsed sparingly by the Socom.

Many didn't like it, and switched back to the P226 or ither handguns.

It's a realible brute. Runs around $2100 new for the pistol.
