My new DW VBOB

Picked up a VBOB this Monday.

I can't seem to stop fondling this gun! Was able to put 200 rounds yesterday of assorted HPs and FMJs and they all ran trouble free, even with the supplied DW 8 round mags and Wilson Combat EMT mags. I hope it doesn't break the bank to keep feeding this baby. :cool:

Dan Wesson (CZ) makes some very good, smooth, tight pistols. Some of the best production 1911s out there, I think. I liked them even better before the price hike. A VBOB is on the to-do list.

Yes they are US built. I believe they are owned by CZ now and their shop is on the East coast. Can't remember the city right now.

Dan Wesson produces 1911's that are outfitted almost exactly as I would outfit one myself. I would really like to have a Guardian in .45. i'd change the rear sight though.

Very nice! I just picked one up a few weeks ago and i'm really enjoying it. It ends up on my person when the I want something a bit larger than the PPS.
