I was at my LGS browsing when a man came in with 4 pistols to trade in. I told the owner of the store that I would buy one of them as soon as he was finished. It happened to be a stainless Ruger MK II Target Slabside. The bonus is that is appears to be unfired and with 2 magazines. The best part of it all . . . $325.

Very nice.

I like my Ruger II and had the barrel cut & threaded by TT.

It is accurate as all get out and very quiet with a suppressor!

I see those around in good/excellent condition occasionally for considerably more than what you paid. Great deal you got there. I have one and love it. Great pistol.

Thanks guys. I am still overly stoked on it. I have wanted a Ruger MK for a couple years. I almost bought a MK 22/45 hunter a year ago but while filling out paperwork at the shop, we discovered something lodged in the barrel. I passed on it and I have been wanting one ever since. I'm actually glad I waited because this is my favorite model of the series. A small portion of me almost wants to keep it unfired. . . but that's not why I bought it.
