I really enjoyed the last thread where everyone was telling about and posting pictures of their favorite gun. So..post your favorite aftermarket pistol/revolver grips, or rifle stocks if you wish.

VZs.............any platform
Pachmayr grippers, and Hogue finger groove grips are my favorites for shooting.

Tyler's T grips are really a great combination of shootability and natural good looks of the wood:

Always loved the feel of these oversized grips on my Ruger Vaquero Bisley:

These "skip checkered" Mustang grips are good looking, IMHO:

I like Hogue and Larry Davidson. Only two 'special' grips I own.
I'd like a set of Esmerelda grips for something.

Anything but rubber. :tongueout:
Seriously though, right now on my J-Frame I'm rockin' the DeSantis Clip Grips and lovin' em' and I just got a nice set of Coco Bolo Double Daimond grips for my ATI 1911a1 Commander. Need to get a pic of both with the new grips. Maybe tomorrow.

I love smooth grips. I prefer nice wood, but I also like my carbon fiber grips.

Those are prior owned Mustang grips that I bought on ebay. I really don't know much about them, except the outfit was called Mustang that made them......Not even sure if the company is still in business.......

I like Spegel boot grips for my 642:

It's been while since I've had a 1911, but I had a set of Herrett's D45 stocks on one of them. When I finally get around to getting another 1911 I'll probably get another set for it.
This isn't my gun, but I think it gives you a good idea of what they look like:

I love that style of half-smooth/half-checkered grips. I think Ahrends makes a similar design.

That's a full custom built by Dave Laubert at Defensive Creations. It's a titanium frame and stainless slide.
