I am watching Cops and one of the LEO's has a blue mag in his Glock. Is that some kind of special mag:headscratch::dunno:

I'm assuming you're seeing the floor plate and not the magazine itself.

The blue floor plates are intended to be used with training guns, or simunition guns.

as said previously designated for the 17t simunition pistol. Was the frame blue too? If not then someone switched the floor plate which is a no-no. It defeats the purpose of having designated colors for training guns if someone is going to use them as a fashion statement.

Personally, I used the black, orange an blue floor plates to designate different types of ammunition in each mag..

As to the previously cited, it confuses the magazines used for "training simunitions". That only counts if your department uses that system.

Mine did not.

I may have to check out the orange ones (I'm not an LEO).

Then again, basic black works for me too.

The blue floor plates are intended to be used with training guns, or simunition guns.

You can get various colors - some people put them on their magazines to make sure their magazines don't get mixed with others at the range.
