I was looking at various P220's at the LGS today (Platinum Elite, Stainless something or other, Match Stainless Elite).

I noticed that all the Sigs had various colored bands around the grips.

Are the colors of these significant?

Some are "certified pre-owned". I think have blue bands?

I believe so, but not 100% sure. :dunno:

I think it's blue bands for new, red bands for Cert. Pre Owned(CPO) However in some LGS I have seen new Sigs with silver bands offered as new.

Blue is new.

Red is CPO.
