Gentlefolk,

I had a terrible relationship with a series of Smith Walther PPKSs...an unrequited affair, I loved it but it didnt love me. Some say the adoption by Smith caused traumas that have yet to be resolved...in any event, my LGS suggested I look at the Sig P232.

The LGS wasnt a Sig dealer, but Gunbroker took care of that.

Picked up a lovely P232 this week...got it all spiffed up and ready for some range rime this wkend.

Anything I should know about the 232?

Not a bad review:

What matters is are you happy with a 380?? There are a lot of decent 9s and compact 40s on the market today. My .02.

Well...I like a diversified portfolio...

I loved the PPKS and wanted a PPK that worked. I at the same day picked up a Kahr P9, and have a couple of Glock 23s, Kahr P380 and some other odds and ends. The 232 I see filling a need more imagined than actual.

I think the P232 is the best 380 built.

I've got one myself.

Had one, to heavy for what it is, but is a good solid gun, enjoy.

Got my P232 out to the range..goimg back again today. No drama. Went bang. Made holes where I aimed. Has a nice heft to it. I can see that for EDC you are not that far from a compact 9, but I am very pleased with it.

Fits my hand very nicely...all in all, a great introduction to Sigs.

Great gun, easy to conceal, a little heavy for a .380 by today's standards but really a good shooter.
