Egypt's newly empowered Islamists have tightened their grip, giving themselves a majority on a 100-member panel tasked with drafting a constitution that will define the shape of the government in the post-Hosni Mubarak era.
Led by the Muslim Brotherhood to victory in parliamentary elections, fundamentalists now have their eyes set on the next prize: the presidency.

That $1.5 trillion we just gave them will help a lot too. I have never seen another country in history that willingly supported its enemies like ours does. Is the State Department some kind of shadowy agency answerable to no one? Or do the carry out direct orders from the President?

What?! You don't want to send money to islamists in Egypt? Clearly, you don't understand the nuances of foreign policy, and why it's so vital for us to keep funding terrorists. It's in our nation's best interest, you America-hater!

Liberals just cannot be trusted to run anything. They operate on the basis of "if we just wish and hope hard enough, and spend gazillions of dollars that aren't ours, everything will work out okay". That's bad enough, but when they're being led by an unknown imposter, well, let's just say that we may or we may not get ourselves out of this one.

Wow...Absolutely no one saw this coming -- except pretty much everyone on GTPI, and likely millions of other people around the world...

I think the obama made it very clear in one of his books that he was more than willing to stand in support of his fellow Muslims. The only people that should be surprised are the ignorant stooges that drink from the liberal kool aid faucet.

This.

This is the type of crap interventionism brings us.

Propping up foreign militaries is 100x cheaper than interventionism. Giving money to militaries no longer in charge of their countries is a little pointless though.
