Just a quick note. I just ordered some 200g 38-40 bullets from http://www.montanabulletworks.com/ . The one I weighed was 208.5g (they should all weigh this, the 200g is just the label...), and they all looked good. He uses LBT blue lube, which seems to be a little softer than the hard wax lube of some companies. Theoretically the softer lube should be better for 10mm velocities than the harder stuff, and the gas check should help things along too.
I will get some pics if anyone needs them, but the site shows what they look like. The only difference is that they are less shiny after rattling around in the mail for a few days. To load them to 1.260 you will just barely cover the crimp groove with the case, so they look right when loaded, and the longer nose seems like it would feed well.
These appear to be much nicer than the DoubleTap 230s I had been using, though I've only gotten 1 box of each. They might be a nice idea if you are wanting to try some hardcast woods loads, without going to a heavier bullet. Also, at .687"(? if I remember?), there is enough room in the case for a decent amount of a wider variety of powders, so maybe a good one to experiment with.
