View Full Version : G20 Issues: Ejector??
I don't think my G20 should be doing this to my brass. It does not happen every time but it happens on 80% of them. Do I just need a new ejector?
I can't say with 100% certainty, but I do believe that you need a new ejector. I had nearly the same problem. Although the scrapes on the side of my cases were straight and not curved like yours. Eventually I started having some failures to eject where the case would stay in the extractor. I think the ejector began to work its way to the left side of the gun just slightly. The ejector was not getting enough bite to eject 100% of the time.
Good news is that it is a cheap part, and literally takes about 5 minutes to replace. You'll need a new trigger housing like this:
If you do not know how to detail strip your gun; a quick search on youtube for how to detail strip your Glock will give many good examples.
My brother and I having matching 20sf's. Both guns leave marks like that. The hotter the load the deeper the mark. Powder puff loads dont seem to leave marks. Both guns have gone several thousand rounds without issue.
Thanks guys. I think I am going to order a new ejector and try that. I hate tearing up my new brass like that.
