You have missed the message. Of course, our medical system is going to resuscitate and treat whether or not one has medical insurance and that would be the desire of every caring family member. That's the point. We are all in this together when it comes to medical expenses since all of us who choose to be responsible enough to buy insurance end up paying for those who don't. That's why the individual mandate was an idea that appealed so much to conservatives until a Democratic Congress incorporated it in the Affordable Care Act and it became associated with Obama's name.
