Terrific.

How many people are in your home? Multiple that by $50,000.

Total debt (all U.S. debt, sum debt of federal and state & local governments, international, and private debt, incl. households, business and financial sector debts, and federal debt to trust funds) is actually about 4 times that, around $200,000 per person.

I will pay the $50,000 today via ACH, wire or certified check on Monday if the government will call it even with me.

The other debt you bring to the table is someone else's. Someone else's household debt, mortgage debt and corporate debt has nothing to do with me.

If all that adds up to $200,000 I would pay that and call it even too, but someone would get screwed because just the mortgage on the house that I rent out to someone else is about $300,000...

Like I said I will gladly cover my personal debt and pay $50,000 to the gov if they call it even for me.

This was the original plan to starve the beast but Obama just keeps spending us into banana republic levels of debt.

As posted this will not be $50,000 per citizen as that would be unfair.

Those more fortunate need to share more of the burden, much more say $800,000.

As the debt will never be repaid, the Government should renounce it.
