“And every creature which is in Heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honor, and glory, and power, be unto Him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb forever and ever.” [Revelation 5:13.]

Your God (if you have one) is too small.

I prefer Christianity to the belief than nothing times nobody equals everything, and that the incredible order we see is the result of chaos.

Understood, having been raised catholic and through catholic schools and the whole religio dogma charade, I find it easier to comprehend proof, fact and logic than I do a book of fairy tales that teach lies to the flock. Religion is all about control. How is christianity any better than hinduism or islam? Why is YOUR god better? Thou shalt not worship false gods? Define false gods.

I guess I just see poor logic in faith that because you don't know the answer, "god must have done it".

What do your facts tell you about how the first non-life became life, or what caused the Big Bang?

Religion is all about control.

I have no problem being controlled by the King of the Universe. Rejection of God is about self-control, or the myth of personal autonomy, IMHO.

How is christianity any better than hinduism or islam?

That's a big question, but Jesus Christ fulfilling prophecy, performing miracles and rising from the dead are pretty unique.

Why is YOUR god better? Thou shalt not worship false gods? Define false gods.

What you should be asking is why do almost all cultures have an idea of a god. Are they all nuts?

The fact that SOME religions are false does not prove that ALL are.

I guess I just see poor logic in faith that because you don't know the answer, "god must have done it".

It's a better answer than 'nothing did it'.

That's pretty cool. Thanks.

Isn't it impressive that despite all that encompasses this beautiful universe, there is nothing in it as complex as the human body.

What do your facts tell you about how the first non-life became life, or what caused the Big Bang? Those are your only problems with science and the natural world? You accept the development of the universe since the planck epoch and the evolution of life?
I have no problem being controlled by the King of the Universe. Then you admit to having no free will? Glad to get that one out of the way.
That's a big question, but Jesus Christ fulfilling prophecy, performing miracles and rising from the dead are pretty unique. Even if one accepted those things happened, and that's a big if, they're hardly unique to Christ.

Clearly if God created all of that, then nothing is impossible for Him, including a personal relationship. It is a thing to inspire awe and reverance.

Psalm 8:
