Springer emp

Been looking at getting my first 1911. was looking at the Springer emp. in .40 S&W. ive heard rumors that they offer this same gun in a .45 GAP. can anybody confim this? if so where do i get it? I dont see its availible on Springfield armorys website.

I've never ever heard of one in GAP. Only in 9 and 40. The only alternative is a Micro Compact 45ACP.

There is no 1911 in existance chambered in 45 GAP

I like the look and feel of the EMP. Seems like a nice pistol, especially for a compact 1911.

yeah thats what i thought. considering it, I havent really heard alot about them any idea on the durabilty and reliablity?

I think Para made a GAP 1911 not long ago, but why the hell anybody would want one is beyond me. :dunno:

This is my wife's fotay, it shoots great! We put 450 rounds of 165gr Gold Dots through it on its first trip to the range without any malfunction. Probably has a couple thousand through it now.

I like them, i was concidering getting my wife one for her ccw. in the 9mm though. i think they look really nice
