Imagine that, American media gushing over socialism.
During a report for the April 18 edition of NBC's Rock Center (http://rockcenter.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2012/04/16/11223437-4-month-presidential-campaign-with-no-television-ads-welcome-to-france?lite), correspondent Ted Koppel was right at home with French socialist campaign workers: "...it is the Socialist campaign directed by these three young men, Vincent, Arthur and Guillaume, that has the distinctly American flavor." Guillaume declared: "We've been pushing this, you know, let's do what Obama did for two years."

At the same time, only seconds earlier, Koppel touted attacks against current French President Nicolas Sarkozy for being too American: "This US-style rally is one reason that President Sarkozy's rivals call him La American, 'the American.' It is not meant as a compliment."

In France the Socialists call themselves such, and the Communists, too. They don't hide behind the thin veil of calling themselves "Democrats". In America the Natsos generally pretend to be otherwise; their actions reveal the truth. Given the utter devestation caused by Socialists and Communists, it's amazing that anyone would openly admit being one, especially in Europe.

"NBC" with "ethical journalism" has been an oxymoron for quite a while now.

Isn't there a surge of interest in a "candidate" that is a "conservative",I read that earlier on GTPI.'08. :headscratch:

You mean...they don't hide behind the thin veil of "Progressives" ... right?

Progressive became en vogue when the word "liberal" started giving everyone a bad taste in their mouths.

Same crap...different wrapper!

I wonder what the term "conservative" actually means in France?

Too funny.

Conservative in France means drinking only white wine with poultry.

As to NBC's hiring practices:

No one
But
Communists

:wavey: I figure that bit of info should clear things up just in case anyone still had their doubts about them.
