My prediction...mainstream media will report it if pushed to, and we'll be inundated with reports that we are doing just peachy.

Yep -- and the leftists here want to follow their business model...But, of course, socialism isn't a failed system -- it's just never been applied quite right before... :whistling:

Erm, you might want to check your facts. The UK has a majority center-right government (The Conservative Party). It hasn't had a Socialist government since the 70s. I was there.

I don't think UK/European "conservatives" are what we think of as conservatives in this country... ;)

Nationalized banks, nationalized health care, nationalized broadcasting -- it may not be France, but it is certainly socialist by any reasonable standard.

There are 5.5 million fewer jobs than we had in 2008. In the past 6 months 70% of the job openings have been in the low wage sector. Unemployment for people with college educations is twice the norm. Hiring through June 2011 was 10 times slower following the passage of the Democrat’s healthcare bill compared to the prior 16 months and is estimated to have cost more than 2 million jobs since. And. In the first few months of 2012 layoff announcements have risen 18% from a year ago.

Those who are working found their income falling to 1996 levels, older people are working to make up the loss of their home values and retirement funds and the real inflation rate is over 8%.

Your wait is over :wavey:
