View Full Version : Non-Lethal Self Defence
I am looking at carrying a Kimber PepperBlaster II (http://www.kimberamerica.com/pepperblaster) in addition to my every day carry system. What is your experience (if any) with this product. And, more broadly, what do you recommend (other than hand-to-hand combat training) for non-lethal EDC? For reasons that you are aware, carrying something non-lethal has many advantages; however, it seems like something that isn't very well covered by the professionals.

No experience with the Kimber Pepper Blaster on this end. For remote control mid-level use of force, pepper spray and "civilian TASER" (the genuine TASER International product, not the contact-distance "stun guns") are the best bet. Check local laws on possession/carry/use of each.
For contact weapons in the intermediate force range, the Kubotan "mini-baton" and the walking stick are both options. Kubotan techniques transfer perfectly to Mini-Mag flashlights.
Whatever the force option, training is essential.
Best of luck,
Mas
