The guns are hot... You need some Thompson's water sealer on that deck, though....

I'm going to make my next purchase either a Guardian .45, or CCO, so I have some Questions for you.

Which do you like better? Does the bobtail make up for extra length for concealability, or does the CCO still conceal better? This will be a carry gun for me, most likely.

Thanks, sorry about this ===> :arg:

I like them both for CC, but the CCO is the best CC platform for the 1911 IMO. Knocks on the CCO from DW, IMO, are chainlink fronstrap and MSH instead of checkering. I don't like the feel of the chainlink, as it's just not grippy enough to me. If it was checkered, it would be the bomb. They both shoot lights out.

These guys are obviously jealous of the size of your deck.

If numbers of cool guns in a collection is the standard, Bac 1023 has the biggest deck of us all.

They both look great! But the oversize bushing really sets off the Guardian that much better! LOOKS AWESOME!

Beautiful. What trigger do you have on those puppies? Any issues with them getting scratched where they enter the frame? I just got a Guardian .45 this weekend and I've been drooling over pics of your pistols while I was shopping. Love the no nonsense look with the solid black triggers.

Thanks. Those are Harrison Exteme short solid triggers finished in melonite IIRC. The finish on those DW guns is as tough as nails.

Beautiful pistols. The guardian is what, 9mm? 5" barrels?

What can I say.... I'm a deck man...

All about the deck? I'm not much for decks, but those pistols are nice. Would look better on my patio.

Brian's deck is carpeted.

The Guardian and CCO are both Commander sized slides (4.25").
