If you had to know Morse code and/or were primarily performing collections when you were in it's probably 1N2X1. If you weren't doing collections it's probably 1N4X1.
Started out as 811X0 (SP), then retrained to 457X0 (helo Maint) Then 8R000 (recruiter) then back to 2A572 (helo Maint).
Now retired and NM certified Police Officer

Cool and you're welcome! The job title didn't sound like ELINT since it just stated "electronic," which could have been darn near anything since ELINT comprises all non-communication emitters.
Oh, and the 1N5 AFSC was recently (and stupidly, no thanks to the big wigs at AFPC) rolled into the 1N2 AFSC that has been further broken down to identify former 1N5's or those who'll serve in what was--and should have remained--a 1N5 position.

OMG those are old, but I remember seeing something like them when I started (1980). The AFSCs changed I think around the early 90s, some just changed their numbers and some merged too as I remember. I was a ground radio guy 304x4 and then the same but with a different number, 2E1X3. Since I retired in 01 there has been mergers as I hear from some still in. Hopefully for the best, and not for someones OER or some BS like that at HQ.

I had two AFSCs due to retraining.
My first was 30353, Automatic Tracking Radar Specialist. We provided Soviet SAM threat simulators for tactical and strategic training and tracked bombing accuracy for bombers on training runs.
My second was 20970, Command, Communications, and Control, Countermeasures Analyst. This is who taps onbase phones, intercepts radio transmissions and basically plays the Threat in communications scenarios. Used to jam and spoof radio networks during exercises too.
Retired as a 2A300. Entered active duty in May 1981 as a 328X4 (avionic inertial and radar nav systems specialist, INS/Doppler). Rivet Workforce made me a Comm/Nav troop in 1988. Stayed Comm/Nav until it morphed into 2A5X3A. I worked B-52G, KC-135A/Q, HH-3E, E-3B/C, MH-53J, AC-130H, MC-130P, MC-130E, C-20B/C/H, VC-137B/C, VC-9C, C-37A, C-32A, E-8C. Retired as an AMU Chief babysitting F-16's.

I see there are a few red headed step children here. Not sure how the Security Forces thing is working now. It looks like they are blending the LE with the SS crowd. Well that took out all the fun between those two groups...
Although I did notice, that the combat training is now BACK at Bullis for ABGD, apparently the idea of sending Air Force dudes to train with army dudes did not pan out.....
I started out as a 431X3 then we were changed to 457X2 and finally 2A5X1J. I was a Crew Chief on HC-130N/P, C-130E, and retired from the MC-130E. I also did my time as a flight line expediter and production supervisor.
