View Full Version : Another 1911 entering the collection
Springfield Armory TRP:supergrin:. I've heard a lot of good things about SA 1911's, but for whatever reason I was never really drawn to it. Then out of no where I started to look at them and read more about them and how they're getting harder to find here in CA. I then decided to get one and my choices were the Loaded or TRP. It took me a few minutes of reading before finally deciding on the TRP. I called my local gun store today where I buy most of my guns/accessories and they had just got 3 in. I went in and talked to the owner who knows me quite well and he said he'd give me $200 off. I said to him "Damnit, I just bought a Scorpion 1911 too, but you got yourself a deal". Now, up on three 1911's and growing, but very slowly now. 930 SPX and Benelli M4 will be up next!

Congrats. I really like my TRP. I also like your optimism on getting away from more 1911's. I have said for almost two years now that the next one would be my last because I had a few long guns I have been wanting, then the next thing you know I am committed to another 1911... :wow:

You will like the TRP.
I have a question on the TRP in the picture. Mine and all the other one I have seen come with an ambidextrous safety.
Did you change yours out?
Many congrats my friend:thumbsup:

Tactical Response Professional?
There has to be a "Tactical" in the name somewhere, somehow.

You wouldn't want to shoot a BG with a non-Tactical gun, lol........
