I'd like to buy one when they become available and put it through it's paces. So far they are doing their best kimber solo impersonation and doing a good mythical unicorn impersonation.

Anybody seen one, or have a good date on when they'll be available?

Haven't seen it yet. I hit up about 3 LGS's in my area weekly, aint seen a 938 yet.

A guy over at the XD forums has one. Even posted a picture of it next to a Shield and P238. I haven't seen one in person yet.

Was able to purchase one but passed. It is on my list. Just didn't have enough cash on me to do it.

Been to several gun stores in the last 2 weeks. Not a single one, not that I was looking for one, but i scoped everything in the cases and I know none were there, at least in this part of N.E. Ohio.

My big Sig dealer told me end of Summer is what he was told. Now I'm surprised people out there have them. I haven't seen one anywhere.

Blue Ridge Arsenal in Chantilly VA had/has one. (Was in there two weeks ago)
They were selling it for $680 ish.
The only difference between the 938 and 238 is the grip is slightly longer to accommodate the length of the 9mm round.

Really sweet gun.

Well I lucked into mine. It is awesome. 100+ flawless rounds down range. Slightly greater recoil than my P238, but not by much, and less than my PM9. This is my EDC now!!
...and it fits my 238 holster

I am about to preroder one too. I like the Rosewood version. With different version of this gun, which finish is the toughest?

Are they all Nitron finish? I heard they are not all the same slide finish treatment.

Beautiful pistol......I love Sigs. Does it have an ambidextrous manual safety?

Nightmare P938.

I preordered from a reputable online dealer for a Rosewood version cost me $666 shipped with 10% down.

There is no way I will pay for $799 shipped ( Nightmare version ) asking by other dealer online. For $800 dollars ! i could add a few dollars for a nice Colt Agent or Kimber 3" barrel....

It was $699, not $799. It was retail price, and that usually goes against my usual ways, sure; but it's on it's way, now. I've done some preordering in the past and it's taken months.

If I were to escalate cost, a Springfield EMP would certainly be on the short list. However, I don't want a full sized 1911.

I have so many guns that I can and do carry, but I got it anyways. I've waited for this since SHOT.

The seller PM'ed or emailed me telling me that the price of the extreme version she was selling was $799 shipped.

Handled one today at the LGS. It felt very nice, definitely something to give a try later, but I just don't have $700 to spend on one.

My local shop just got one in. It doesn't do much for me, quite frankly.

We've had some for about 2 weeks-haven't shot one yet-customers seem to really like them.

I took my uncle out to shoot the P238 and P938. I couldn't feel a difference between the two. He could, though.

I got to fondle one at my LGS/Indoor range three weeks ago. What a beauty this gun is. Feels rock solid, and looks damn good. It just didn't look $850 good, Instead I just got an LCP pocket carry for a third of that price.

For 380, the P238 shines. Great carry gun.

My P938 was only $699. I did purchase four more mags for $38 each. It's an awesome gun but not for a beginner/novice, like my uncle.
