...anymore. Conservativism is dead as far as the White House is concerned. Jorge Busho was open borders and big, (and I do mean "big") government.

McLame was a joke.

Now Romney is more of the same, only worse. Homos adopting children? Are you freaking kidding? No way, fool. Screw it.

We're a bunch of slimy, stupid frogs sitting in the water, not noticing how hot it's getting.

I told myself I wasn't ever (after Jorge) going to hold my nose to vote for another RINO. Then I voted for that fool McLame.

No more.

Real honest conservatism has not been represented in the white house since RR.......but conservatism is certainly not dead in the heart of America. The elections of last week should have given you a little hope for change......() Conservatism will win if it's on the ballot.

This November, I'll vote for Romney........not because I actually want him as our president, but because I actually FEAR the alternative. You should consider doing this, too.

I really get tired of voting for a candidate because I really dislike the other candidate. All it takes is an awareness among the voting public about what's going on in this country to change things around. I really do believe that is finally happening......

Hang in there.......We need to use our heads in this election. Doing the right thing for America, once again, is to show up and vote against the worst candidate. Conservatism isn't dead, but it's importance is getting some momentum in public awareness, day by day......bit by bit.

You say "no more" and you're fed up.
What are you going to do?

Not vote?
Vote for Obama?

Your criticisms of republicans is misplaced and full of overused clichés.

Instead of complaining like an old woman, why don't you tell us the solution to the problem. ...and be honest.

Obama will be glad to hear it. I only hope there are enough Democrats stupid enough not to vote for Obama because he isn't perfect.

Romney is clearly the rightward-most viable candidate.

Ron Paul offered the country a shot at real conservatism in the White House and the country rejected it.

What do you expect?

People want their socialism: Social Security, Medicare, the "safety net", Unemployment Insurance.

So, they'll get it.

Now some Romney lapdog is going to come in and tell you that roads are socialism, in an effort to distract from the real debate, and justify their cowardice and lack of dignity. Or some genius will fire off with an absurdly stupid comment like, "Don't like the law? Get it changed."

There won't be another Ron Paul. This country completely missed the boat, and as our future grows dimmer, the lemmings will keep on marching to the polls to vote for the socialist dressed up as a Republican candidate.

I just wonder who would have first priority in the lifeboats, the "real" conservatives, the anarchists, the potheads, the draft dodgers or the tax evaders?

Better than eight years of Romney. Between the two clowns, no one has been able to articulate any fundamental difference between them. So yeah, four years of statism, open borders, entitlement programs, crushing debt, and the war on American liberty is the lesser of two evils.

This.

True conservatives backed RP and the rest, whatever they call themselves, whined about the fact that he didn't want to continue unsustainable wars or that he didn't want to keep pouring billions into a failed drug war or that he had no desire to fight abortion or gay marriage. The OP said it himself. "The fags can adopt babies!? Aw hell no!" This is what the people that call themselves conservatives are concerned with today. This is what sticks in their craw and gets them fired up. They're not concerned with shrinking government or freedom for everybody even if they disagree with their lifestyle. RP gave them a taste of that and they collectively puked and then b*tched about the aftertaste. They're only socialists that have a different agenda for how the big government should overstep it's bounds.

GOP doesn't stand for smaller government anymore. It only means using the big government that's here to stay against "those" people just like it means for "those" people.

About the only constructive thing Ron Paul supporters can do now in support of their own conservative cause is to deny the unencumbered and "more flexible" second term to the current President and use the threat of re-election for the Republican candidate to influence policy to the goals you seek.

Voting for Ron Paul will not support the very goals Ron Paul supporters cherish.

No, I've been told what Ron Paul supporters think the solution is.

Their solution doesn't scare me one bit because it has nothing to do with personal liberty or personal responsibility.

That was just the vehicle used to transport their, I don't want to pay taxes, serve in the military or obey the laws of society mantra.

America has rejected their selfish ideology and their anarchist beliefs.

Please don't classify all Ron Paul supporters the same.
I have no problem paying my fair share in taxes. I do have a problem with the way it is spent
I served 8 years in the military. My sons serve also. I have a problem with the way the government uses its military and with corrupt defense contracts.
I am a law enforcement officer and obey the laws as well as enforce the law. I have a problem with some laws being intrusive to my privacy and liberty.

So just how do I fit into your perception of what a Ron Paul supporter must be?

You say America has rejected some outlandish beliefs of a very few RP supporters. Good. However, the real message is starting to get out and a realistic chance of a viable third party candidate is forseeable in the next 20 years.

Those who say discard your beliefs and jump on the Romney train have no honor and deserve what they are asking for.
